1. Acceptance
By using Altnativ's services ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. Services
- Talk/xpress — AI receptionist for small and medium businesses
- Talk/alpha — Enterprise AI voice agents
- Analyze — Speech analytics and quality assurance
- Decide — AI-powered knowledge assistant
3. Account Registration
- Provide accurate, complete information
- Protect your account credentials
- You must be at least 16 years old
- One account per business entity
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Deceive, harass, or harm individuals
- Record calls without proper disclosure to callers
- Reverse engineer our AI models or technology
- Resell the Service without written authorization
- Process special category data without a data processing agreement
5. Call Recording Disclosure
You are solely responsible for informing callers that calls are being recorded and may be processed by AI. Compliance with local recording consent laws is your responsibility, including but not limited to the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 (Cth), the Surveillance Devices Act 1999 (VIC), and equivalent legislation.
6. Payment
- Prices in USD unless otherwise stated
- Monthly billing via Stripe
- Metered usage billed monthly in arrears
- Overage charges when usage exceeds plan limits
- Upgrade or downgrade anytime
- 14-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions
GST
Altnativ Pty Ltd is registered for GST (ABN 52 681 839 029). GST at the current rate of 10% applies to supplies made to Australian customers where required by law. For customers outside Australia, no GST is charged.
7. Intellectual Property
- You own your content (scripts, FAQs, business data)
- We own the Service, AI models, and platform
- You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service
- We do not use your data to train AI models
8. Data Processing
Governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement. All data encrypted at rest and in transit.
9. Service Level
- Target: 99.9% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance communicated 48 hours in advance
- Not liable for third-party downtime
10. Termination
- You may terminate anytime via dashboard or support@altnativ.co
- Upon termination: recordings deleted within 30 days, personal data deleted within 30 days, metadata de-identified
11. Liability
- Service provided "as is"
- Total liability limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
13. Disputes
- Contact support@altnativ.co first
- Unresolved disputes: binding arbitration administered by ACICA in Melbourne, Victoria
- Class action waiver applies to the extent permitted by applicable law
